April 1st is always a day to celebrate in our family, it is my Father's birthday. This year there is even more reason to celebrate, Dad had open heart surgery in June and has recovered fully.
As a family; there were tough decisions made, frightening moments shared, long periods of waiting tolerated and many prayers said. Recovery presented challenges too. Together, my parents had to grasp large amounts of information and successfully achieve new tasks.
Today we are blessed to observe another birthday and we hope for many more.
